Run the Installation Jobs for a Pax Installation

Submit and run these SAMPJCL members in sequence. Do not proceed with any job until the previous job has completed successfully.

To run the installation jobs
  1. Open the SAMPJCL member ADS3RECD in an edit session and execute the ADSSEDIT macro from the command line.

    Note: Be aware that the default middle level qualifier name of the SMP/E CSI has been removed beginning with release 11.6. If upgrading from a previous release, ensure that the correct, complete name of your CSI is specified in the PARM= on the execute card.

    ADS3RECD is customized.

  2. Submit the SAMPJCL member ADS3RECD to receive SMP/E base functions.

    CA Dispatch is received and now resides in the global zone.

  3. Open the SAMPJCL member ADS4APP in an edit session and execute the ADSSEDIT macro from the command line.

    Important: The APPLY of CA Dispatch deletes the prior release of CA Dispatch.

  4. Note: Be aware that the default middle level qualifier name of the SMP/E CSI has been removed beginning with release 11.6. If upgrading from a previous release, ensure that the correct, complete name of your CSI is specified in the PARM= on the execute card.

    ADS4APP is customized.

  5. Submit the SAMPJCL member ADS4APP to apply SMP/E base functions.

    Your product is applied and now resides in the target libraries.

  6. Open the SAMPJCL member ADS5ACC in an edit session and execute the ADSSEDIT macro from the command line.

    Note: Be aware that the default middle level qualifier name of the SMP/E CSI has been removed beginning with release 11.6. If upgrading from a previous release, ensure that the correct, complete name of your CSI is specified in the PARM= on the execute card.

    ADS5ACC is customized.

  7. Submit the SAMPJCL member ADS5ACC to accept SMP/E base functions.

    Your product is accepted and now resides in the distribution libraries.
