This JCL is optional and only needs to be run if the site wishes to change the events being processed by CA Dispatch by default (see the previous table).
Edit CADSJCL member DSINEXSX. This member will create and install a new usermod; DSINEXSX, which will customize the CAIENF events being picked up by the STATUS task of CA Dispatch.
This usermod will modify the RDFGSTAX module. It contains the source member RDFGSTAX. There are two input parameters:
ABNDHDG=YES/NO
This parameter determines whether to pick up the events related to the Abend Handling process. These events include JOBINIT, JOBTERM and STEPTERM.
The Abend Handling process within CA Dispatch allows you specify how a report is to be processed if the Job and/or Step that created it abends. To accomplish this, a great number of events may need to be processed. If you do not plan to use this function, you can avoid the processing of these events.
BNDLPRT=YES/NO
Determines whether to pick up the events related to the Bundle Print Time process.
The Bundle Print Time permits you to follow your printing process via the VRDMI400 screen. Therefore, it requests the processing of all of the JOBPRINTs in your system. Set BNDLPRT=NO if you don't plan to use the Bundle Print Time option.
