Considerations for IDMS Sites Using a System Number Other Than 01

If you are a current CA IDMS site and would like to use a system number other than 01, select option LT in the SYS01 symbolic.

Note: Step CASYSG will JCL flush if the SYS01 symbolic is set to LE. This is correct; the CASYSG step should only run if the symbolic is set to LT.

If you change the SYS01 symbolic from LE to LT, you must also modify the *TOSYS parameter in member DSVIN in the CADSOPTN Library to reflect the new system number before you execute this job.

If you are going to test CA Dispatch r11.7 on the same CPU as your production CA Dispatch, be sure to choose a unique CVNUM (from 1 to 32) for CA Dispatch r11.7.
