MI PERFORMANCE IS IMPAIRED, ADSMI002 IS NOT THE SUBJECT OF AN ATTACH OR LINK. SEE MODULE mmmmmmmm

Reason:

The Module Intercept (MI) facility was used but ADSMI002 was not specified as the control module, mmmmmmmm was specified as the control module:

• For batch, PGM=ADSMI002 was not specified in the EXEC statement. For example,

  EXEC PGM=ADSMI002,PARM='pgm-name,pgm-parms'
  

  Note: Before ADSMI002 passes control to pgm-name, it will remove pgm-name and pass the remainder of the parameter string.

• For ISPF, PGM(ADSMI002) was not specified on the SELECT statement.

This is an internal message to assist in diagnosing a problem encountered during system operation. This message is issued only when a DD statement beginning with MTF is detected, such as //MTFTIME.

The performance impact is dependent on the number of active programs loaded. If ADSMI002 is not found as the top (control) program, a search of all active modules is done to ensure correct control and trace processing occurs. Standard CADisk functions load many programs and will very likely see performance degradation. User programs incorporating CADisk programs normally involve fewer modules, and may not experience any problems even when this message is issued.
