(ffffff) NOT UPDATED FOR VSAM COMPONENT = (ddd)

Reason:

This message indicates that the DSCB Update utility attempted to update the VTOC field (ffffff) for cluster (ddd). Most VSAM data component fields in the VTOC are supported by this utility, with the exception of:

1. LMODT (last modified date)
2. OPCNT (open count)
3. OPCNTH (open count half word)
4. JBNM (job name or accounting code)

These fields are intended for non-VSAM only and are bypassed and not updated in the FMT1 DSCB if a VSAM component meets the dsname or volume selection. If valid VSAM updatable fields are selected in the same DSCB update utility, they will be processed correctly.
