Reason:
In locating all the volumes for a specific archive data set, CADisk has discovered that records are not chained in correct sequence. For instance, record 1 is chained to key) 123456 but the volume sequence for key) 123456 is not 2 as it should be.
This message may be a result of attempting to copy a volume, which is not sequence number 1 of a multivolume archive data set. Only the first volume of a multivolume data set should be specified for tape copy. The rest of the volumes of the sequence will be copied automatically when the first volume is copied.
Action:
Verify that no special maintenance to archive volume records has caused the error. Use the archive volume record report to verify the status of the records. Use the CADisk REBUILD utility to correct the situation.
