Reason:
While attempting to open a VSAM cluster, CADisk detected error (nn), which was returned in the ERROR field of the ACB. A list of these return codes is found in IBM's VSAM Programmer's Guide. CADisk stores a list of common OPEN error return codes. If the error code in the text is found in the CADisk table, subsequent message lines will explain the error in greater detail.
The DSN prefix for the cluster was not defined in the master catalog for the user catalog being accessed. Connect the catalog to the master catalog, supply a STEPCAT for the user catalog or (if RESTORE) restore the data set to the proper user catalog.
The installation may have a product called VIO Plus from Softworks installed. This is a known problem that can occur in VIO Plus prior to Release 4.1. If a prior release of this product is installed, exempt CADisk processing from its control.
