FILE REQUEST OF (xxx) FAILED FOR DSN = (ddd)

Reason:

CADisk was attempting to update the DSNINDEX file of the Files Data Set and an error occurred. (ddd) is the name of the archive data set for which the error occurred. (xxx) is the action being taken for the data set. The following is a list of valid action codes:

• SI: insert record into Files Data Set
• SD: delete record
• SR: replace record
• RU: retrieve specific record
• RN: retrieve next record in sequence

Action:

CADisk abends with a user abend after this error is encountered. This is to prevent any damage to the Files Data Set. See previous error messages for more information about the error encountered. For assistance, contact CA Technical Support.
