How to Install the CICS Agent

The DevTest CICS Agent package consists of the following files:

• iTKOCICSAgentLoadCICS51
• iTKOCICSAgentLoadCICS52

The steps for the installation are:

1. FTP the files to the target z/OS system.
2. Restore the Partitioned Datasets (PDSs).
3. Ensure that the TCP/IP interface is installed and started in CICS.
4. Create the CICS Agent configuration file.
5. Define CICS Agent resources to CICS.
6. Add exit enable/disable to the CICS PLT.
7. Modify CICS startup JCL.
