The Disk-To-Disk Drive Mapping page lets you specify the source operating system and relevant drive mapping information for the slave disk's operating system.
Note: If Windows 2000 is installed on your host computer, then you can migrate only Windows 2000 from the slave disk.
You can specify information in the following fields:
Displays the operating system and corresponding drive for the source disk. When you select an option from this drop-down list, appropriate drive names are displayed in the Drive Map area. For example, if the option is WinXP(P), it signifies that the operating system on the source disk is Windows XP and it is installed on the P drive (new mapped drive) of the source disk.
Displays new mapped drive names for the source disk. This column represents the new mapped drive names for the source disk when it is attached to the host computer as a slave disk.
Displays original drive names for the source disk. This column represents the drive names where the slave disk's operating system runs. While providing the drive mapping information in the Source column, consider the following points:
