Create a DNA File
If you want to migrate the settings of the computer where CA DMM is installed, you must create a DNA file containing those settings.
To create a DNA file for your computer
- Click Next on the Welcome page.
The Select a DMM Task page appears.
- Click Create.
Note: If this is not your first time through the process, the Open a Template File page appears if you have an existing template.
The Select Settings Welcome page appears.
- Click Next.
The Select Users for Migration page appears.
- Do one of the following:
- Click Current User if you want to create a DNA file from the settings of the currently logged in user without migrating the user profile account information. See Select System Settings.
- Click Multiple Users if you want to create a DNA file from the settings of one or more users defined to the computer including migrating user profile account information. See Select Users for Migration.
