Select Search Filters

Filters let you identify files and folders on the source system that you want to migrate to your destination system. You can create selection criteria to include or exclude files to select only the desired files so that the destination system is not cluttered with unwanted files.

The following options appear on the page:

File Extensions field

Lets you enter a file extension, such as .doc. You can enter one or more file extensions, such as .doc; .pdf. Use a semicolon to separate multiple extensions.

Add

Adds any file extensions in the File Extensions field to the File Extensions list.

Select All

Checks all of the check boxes next to the file extensions in the File Extensions list.

Deselect All

Clears the check boxes next to all of the file extensions in the File Extensions list.

Delete

Removes a highlighted file extension from the File Extensions list.

File Extensions list

Displays the added file extensions and provides a description of the matching criteria.

Advanced

Displays the Filters dialog to let you make more advanced filter specifications such as file name and type, date, and file size.
