Templates contain preselected settings. The DMM Template Editor lets you store the preselected settings to a file that can be applied to groups of users.
The Open a Template File page lets you select one or more templates to use during the migration process. The following options appear on the page:
Lets you select one or more templates to use for the migration.
Displays the template files you selected from the list.
Lets you search for other template files that might be stored in other folders.
Note: CA DMM looks for templates in the My Documents folder of the local computer. If there are no templates in the local My Documents folder, the DMM Options file, or the DMM Template Editor (in the Search Paths for Template Files field), the Open a Template File page does not appear.
