Open a DNA File
The Open a DNA File page lists all of the DNA files available on this system in the default or specified location. From this page you can select a DNA file from the list or click Browse to select one that is not listed.
Note: If you want to view summary information or the revision history for the file, right-click a DNA file name. The File Summary or Revision History dialog appears.
To open a DNA file
- Click Open in the Select a DMM Task page.
The Open a DNA File page appears.
- Click one or more files in the list, and then click Next.
One of the following events occurs:
- The DNA File Options page appears if you have not protected the DNA file.
- You are prompted to enter the password, if you have specified a password for encrypting the DNA file or for denying access to the DNA file. This is the password you specified at the time of creating the DNA file.
- You are prompted to enter the key path if you have chosen FIPS-compliant encryption for the DNA file. This is the key path you provided while creating the DNA file.
