Disable Broken Shortcuts

You can move the broken shortcuts on your desktop into a special folder. Shortcuts that cannot be resolved during the migration are moved into a folder meant for storing such shortcuts.

To disable broken shortcuts

  1. Open the DMM Options Editor from the Start menu.

    DMM Options Editor opens.

  2. Click the File Open toolbar button. Browse to the folder where CA DMM is installed, and select the DDNAOptions.dox file.

The DMM Options file opens in DMM Options Editor.

  3. Click the Advanced branch.

The Advanced Options display in the right pane of the DMM Options Editor.

  4. Scroll down to Move broken desktop shortcuts into a folder option, select the option you prefer, and click the Save toolbar button.

DMM Options Editor saves your changes.

  5. Close the DMM Options Editor.
