Disable Broken Shortcuts
You can move the broken shortcuts on your desktop into a special folder. Shortcuts that cannot be resolved during the migration are moved into a folder meant for storing such shortcuts.
To disable broken shortcuts
- Open the DMM Options Editor from the Start menu.
DMM Options Editor opens.
- Click the File Open toolbar button. Browse to the folder where CA DMM is installed, and select the DDNAOptions.dox file.
The DMM Options file opens in DMM Options Editor.
- Click the Advanced branch.
The Advanced Options display in the right pane of the DMM Options Editor.
- Scroll down to Move broken desktop shortcuts into a folder option, select the option you prefer, and click the Save toolbar button.
DMM Options Editor saves your changes.
- Close the DMM Options Editor.
