Merge Templates

Merging two template files selects all the settings marked in both the template files. If there is a template conflict, the merging (unopened) template takes precedence.

To merge two templates

1. Open one of the templates; for example, template1.dtf.
2. Click File, Merge.

   The Open dialog appears.

3. Locate the template, for example template2.dtf, you want to merge with the open template, and click Open.

   The open template is the result of merging the two templates. In the example, the settings of template2.dtf are merged with template1.dtf.

4. Click File, Select Save As.

   The merged template is saved with a new name leaving the original templates as is.

   Note: Clicking File, Save saves the merged file in the first opened file.
