Select Multiple Templates

You can use multiple templates to support your migration process. You choose multiple templates on the Open a Template File page.

To select multiple templates

1. Click the first template, and while holding the Ctrl key, select one or more additional templates no matter where they appear in the list.
2. Click the first template in the list, and holding the Shift key, select the last template in the list to select a contiguous list of templates.
3. Type the paths to the templates directly into the Selected template file field. If you type the paths, you must enclose them in quotes and separate them with a semi-colon.

When you select multiple templates, CA DMM numbers them to give a clear indication of the order of precedence. The lowest number (1) takes precedence over all templates. Template 2 takes precedence over 3 and 4, and so on.

Note: If any of the templates cannot be opened, an error message appears, and you must correct the selection to select a valid template file.
