Uninstall Clustered CMS Components

To uninstall CA Data Protection from the primary node

  1. Remove CA Data Protection Standard Reports.
  2. Remove CA Data Protection Server.

    Important: Verify that the 'Delete CA Data Protection Database (including data)' option is not selected.

  3. Click Change, Modify
  4. Move the server V-CMS to node 2 using the Failover Clustering Management utility.

To uninstall CA Data Protection from the secondary node

  1. Remove CA Data Protection Standard Reports.
  2. Remove CA Data Protection Server.
  3. Click Change, Modify to remove.

    Important: If this is the last node in the cluster and you want to remove the database and all data, verify that the 'Delete CA Data Protection Database (including data)' option is selected. If you would like to keep the data, clear this checkbox.

To clean up the registry entries:

On the primary node, delete the 'CA Data Protection' registry entries.
