Send Data through a Hub

To do this, you must install the External Agent API. When you do so, the installation wizard prompts you to also install the Socket API and the Remote PE Connector. This is described in the Deployment guide; search the index for ‘Socket API, installing’.

The External Agent then passes the NBA data directly to the Remote PE Connector (a policy engine hub), which distributes events to remote policy engines. You will therefore also need to configure the hub. This is described in the Deployment guide; search the index for ‘policy engine hub’.

Note: We recommend that you deploy your policy engines before you deploy the policy engine hub.
