Deploy the NBA

Before you can deploy the NBA, you must first deploy your policy engines and, optionally, a policy engine hub. You must also deploy the CA DLP Socket API.

The key deployment tasks are as follows

  1. Deploy the Socket API to enable data transfer between the NBA and your policy engines which requires the following:
    1. Deploy the Socket API on policy engines
    2. Deploy the Socket API with a hub
  2. Set up the NBA. In particular, you need to establish a connection to the NBA device which requires the following:
    1. Establish the connection to the NBA.
    2. Set up the NBA.
  3. Configure the NBA policy. You define this policy in nbapolicy.xml.
  4. Set up event Import. This is only needed if you run the NBA in ‘output to disk’ mode.
  5. Configure CA DLP policies.
  6. Turn on NBA integration.
