The Monitor Initialization Command File

You can create a monitor initialization command file to run a sequence of monitor commands on startup. Put your commands in the file:

CONSOLE$USER_DEFAULTS:CONSOLE$MONITOR_INIT.DAT

or, if this logical name is not defined, put your commands in the file:

SYS$LOGIN:CONSOLE$MONITOR_INIT.DAT
