The VARY command can be entered using the z/OS console to connect or disconnect a remote node.
Note: If this command is entered on CPU A for SYSID of CPU B, CPU B attempts to reconnect to CPU A and fail every retry time interval.
Command operands:
Connects to a remote node.
Disconnects from a remote node.
Unique one through eight character identifier throughout the CAICCI network.
