For the Version 14.0 CAISDI/soap server, basic socket programming is used. Environmental variables are set by LE. For SSL, if the database is on UNIX files, the CAISDI/soap server must have access to those files.
For the CAISDI/soap server before Version 14.0, the CAISDI/soap server address space must have specific access privileges that are granted by the System Authorization Facility. For example: RACF, CA Top Secret, or CA ACF2. To access TCP/IP functions, it must have READ access to the BPX.SERVER resource, or it must run with UID=0.
