Stopping CAISDI/els

The following operator command can be issued from the system console to shut down CAISDI/els:

S CASDIELS,CMD=ELSSTOP

This command invokes the CAISDI/els Interface Controller with a SHUTDOWN command. This removes the Event Control Structure and frees all of the ECSA storage except for the 64 byte Event Anchor Block (EAB) and a 36 byte PC routine stub. These are retained for the next time you start the CAISDI/els interface.
