Email Templates in a Directory

Each deployed template directory contains one or more email templates. When a task or event occurs for which email is enabled, Identity Management searches the appropriate template directory for a template name that is the same as the name of the task or event. If such a template cannot be found, Identity Management uses the default template in the directory. Default template names are listed in Email Templates. For example, Identity Management uses defaultEvent.tmpl in the Pending directory to inform approvers that they have a new work list item.
