Define the Synchronization Look Back Count (for OTP)

If the tenant environment supports OTP credentials, set the Synchronization Look Back Count.

The Synchronization Look Back Count helps ensure that OTPs work correctly, if the clock on the server and client are out of synch.

Follow these steps:

  1. Log in to CA Arcot Administrative Console as a Global Administrator.

    The URL for accessing the Admin Console resembles the following address: http://SMPS:9090/arcotadmin/adminlogin.htm

  2. Set the Synchronization Look Back Count as follows:
    1. Select Organizations, Search Organization.
    2. Search for and select an organization.
    3. Select the WebFort Configuration tab.
    4. In the left navigation pane, click Authentication under WebFort Configuration, ArcotOTP-OATH.
    5. Select the configuration named _GUID MobileArcotOTPPolicy.
    6. Set Synchronization Look Back Count to 100.
    7. Save the configuration changes.
