Configure the SiteMinder Password Policy

Change the redirection URL for the SiteMinder password policy. If a user password fails to meet the password policy criteria, the use is redirected to the specified URL.

Follow these steps:

  1. Log in to the SiteMinder Administration Console:

    http://smps:8080/iam/siteminder/console

  2. Open Policies, Password, Password Policies.
  3. Edit tenant_tag Password Policy.
  4. In the Redirect section, change the Redirection URL to the following value:

    https://SPS/siteminderagent/certoptional/forms/cmpwservices.fcc?iframe=yes&redirectURL=https://SPS/iam/im/tennanttag_pub/index.jsp?task.tag=PasswordServices

  5. In Administration, Policy Server, Cache Management, All Caches, click Flush All.

Symptom:

The following message appears when you deploy a tenant environment:

Solution:

Restart Tomcat, RiskFort and WebFort on all of the SMPS servers in the installation.

ArcotID PKI Authentication Fails

Symptom:

ArcotID PKI Authentication fails and an error that states a user or org is not found appears in the log.

Solution:

Restart Tomcat, RiskFort and WebFort on all of the SMPS servers in the installation.
