The OVF is deployed through VMware vCenter in the VMware ESX environment after the vCenter values are captured from the Interaction Request Form (IRF) form. The OVF can be deployed in two ways:
The service developer must deploy the OVF manually. CA CSDP invokes the IRF to capture the resource details. CA CSDP updates the database with the resource details that are captured through the IRF.
If, the response xml file contains the payload details the Estimate entry point returns the payload details. The IRF captures the VMware vCentre name and user credentials. The SO processes the form details and reverts with the payload details.
Note: This release of Monitoring Services supports only manual deployment.
