Allow the Service Developer to Add Request

The service developer role is mapped to the service manager role in CA Service Catalog. By default, the service manager cannot make a request in the CA Service Catalog. To enable the service developer to see the CA Service Catalog content in SDK, edit the access rights of the service manager role in CA Service Catalog.

Follow these steps:

  1. Log in to CA Service Catalog with service provider credentials.
  2. Click Catalog, Configuration, and then Request Management Configuration.
  3. Click Edit on the Access Control: Add Request property.
  4. Click Select and move Service Manager/Service Developer from the Available panel to the Selected panel.

    Note: The Service Manager role appears as Service Developer only in CA CSDP.

  5. Click Update the Configuration.

    You have successfully edited the access rights of the service manager.
