Create Access Control Lists in CA Nimsoft

You create access control lists to provide the LDAP group with permissions.

Follow these steps:

  1. Log in to MaaS-UMP machine through RDP (mstsc), with the following credentials:

    User Name: Administrator

    Password: Austin@123

  2. Click Start, All Programs, Nimsoft Monitoring, and then open Infrastructure Manager.
  3. (Optional) If you receive a security initialize message, select yes and enter the following credentials:

    User Name: Administrator

    Password: Austin@123

  4. Navigate to Security, Manage Access Control List.
  5. Click New, and enter a role from the Access Control and LDAP Group table.
  6. In the Copy Settings From field, enter a role. For example, Operator.
  7. Click OK.

The operator receives all the permissions.
