Create a Service in CA Spectrum

You need to create a new service in Spectrum that associates the CA CSDP servers.

Follow these steps:

1. Log on to CA Spectrum OneClick console.
2. From the menu bar, select Tools, Utilities, and Service Editor.

   The Service Editor window opens.

3. Click the Create button.
4. In the Create Service window, enter or select the following:
   • Name: ServiceProvider.CSDP
   • Criticality: High
   • Security String: ServiceProvider
   • Generate Service Alarms: Yes
   • Description: SOI_IMPORT_CSDP
5. From the Create Service window, click the search button.

   The Locate Resources window opens.

6. Expand Devices, All Devices.
7. Select the CA CSDP components.
8. Click the button Add Selected to Monitored Resources.
9. Click the create button.
10. Click OK in the Add Service window.

    The Spectrum service is complete.
