A configuration policy is composed of settings that define the configuration of a component, for example, an agent or a scalability server. Some examples of an agent policy are as follows:
An example of a server policy is purging the event log every month.
Settings in gray have not been set. In this case, default settings are used. Settings can be switched between centrally managed and locally managed by using either the context menu or the Tasks portlet. Locally managed settings are indicated by the crossed-out table icon with a section reference mark.
