Quick Launch (configuration mode)

The configuration mode lets you select the entries that you want to be displayed in the Quick Launch portlet, for example, various external applications.

To select entries for the Quick Launch portlet

1. Click the configure icon in the upper-right corner of the Quick Launch portlet.

   You are switched to configuration mode.

2. Select any of the following options:
   • Activate Asset Job check
   • Update Signatures/Versions
   • Restart missing Protection Services
   • Power up Computer
   • Take Control
   • Deploy software packages
   • Quarantine Asset (Intel AMT)
3. (Optional) To specify external applications, click the External application configure icon to open the Configure External Applications dialog, where you can set up available external applications for this unit type.
4. When you are finished, click the Quick Launch configure icon to end configuration mode.
