CA Clarity PPM Microsoft Project Interface with CA Clarity PPM Schedule Connect

You must install CA Clarity PPM Microsoft Project Interface with CA Clarity PPM Schedule Connect to take advantage of all features. If CA Clarity PPM Schedule Connect is already installed with Open Workbench, you must also install CA Clarity PPM Microsoft Project Interface with CA Clarity PPM Schedule Connect.

To install CA Clarity PPM Microsoft Project Interface with CA Clarity PPM Schedule Connect

1. Close all instances of Microsoft Project, then download CA Clarity PPM Microsoft Project Interface installation executable from the CA Clarity PPM DVD.

   On the DVD navigate to Clients\MSPInterface and click mspsetup.exe, or if you have rights to download software from CA Clarity PPM, you can download CA Clarity PPM Microsoft Project Interface (which includes CA Clarity PPM Schedule Connect) from CA Clarity PPM.

   Note: See the Common Features and Personal Options User Guide for more information.

   A dialog box appears asking your language preference for the installer.

2. Select a language and click OK.

   A series of dialog boxes take you through the setup process.

3. Follow the instructions on each dialog box to continue.

   Note: If you have an existing installation, a message appears asking if you want to copy files to the same directory. Click Yes to continue.

   The setup may take a few moments. A dialog box appears when the files are copied to their destinations.

4. Select or clear the check boxes to launch the CA Clarity PPM Microsoft Project Interface and CA Clarity PPM Schedule Connect as desired and click Finish.

   Important! You must launch CA Clarity PPM Microsoft Project Interface with CA Clarity PPM Schedule Connect to enable communication between CA Clarity PPM and Microsoft Project.

   Note: If you have an existing installation, a message appears asking you to confirm the upgrade. Click Ok to continue.

   A series of installation dialog boxes take you through the process.

5. Follow the instructions on each dialog box to continue.

   Note: A dialog box for Program Maintenance may appear if CA Clarity PPM Schedule Connect is installed with Open Workbench. Click Repair to continue.

   The Install Completed dialog box appears last when the installation completes successfully.
