Upgrade or Install CA Clarity Agile Plug-in on JIRA

If you are upgrading the existing CA Clarity Agile plug-in, then remove the following files from the <JIRA installation directory>/atlassian-jira/WEB-INF/lib directory before starting the JIRA server:

Now perform the following steps to upgrade or for a fresh installation of the CA Clarity Agile plug-in on Jira.

Follow these steps:

  1. Download the GEN11141010E.zip file available from support.ca.com.

    The zip file includes jar files.

  2. Extract the jar files from the zip file.
  3. For Jira 4.1.x and 4.2.x:
    1. Shutdown Jira and copy ca-agile-jira-integration-1.6.jar to <jira_home>/plugins/installed-plugins.
    2. Restart Jira.

      Installation takes some time to complete.

  4. For Jira 4.3.x
    1. Log in to Jira as an administrator.
    2. Click Administration, and from System, Click Plugins.
    3. Click the Install tab.
    4. Click Upload Plugin, and select ca-agile-jira-integration-1.6.jar from local drive.

      Installation takes some time to complete.

    Note: Verify that all 12 modules are enabled. If the modules are not enabled, uninstall the plug-in and install again.
