Functionality was added to Complete Compare to allow export by value of calculated properties. Previously, Complete Compare only exported by state.
Calculated properties do not exist in the model. They are calculated based on other properties in the model. Currently when calculated properties are exported, CA ERwin Data Modeler forces the recalculation of the property in the target model. Since the domain or foreign key from which the target property value was calculated remains unchanged, the export looked like it failed. Now Complete Compare allows calculated properties to be exported by value; when a calculated property is exported, a menu displays that lets you choose whether to export the state (existing functionality), or export the value.
Note: Once the value of the property is exported, the property breaks its link with the domain or FK level properties from which it inherited its value.
