Preferences

You use the Report Template Builder Preferences dialog to set default global formatting preferences that apply to new report templates such as default font, text color, and text alignment. You open the Report Template Builder dialog, from which you open the Report Template Builder Preferences dialog by clicking Preferences from the Edit menu. Note: If you need to override any global formatting selections, you can do so in the Properties dialog.

Caution: If you are using the Report Template Builder on a non-English operating system that uses double-byte fonts, such as Korean or Japanese, you should reset the default fonts in the Title, Header, Footer, Section, and Table tabs to a font appropriate to your operating system.
