Set Global Document Column Header Preferences

You can set the default global formatting for document column header text for all reports you generate, or change the default global formatting for an existing report template.

To set global document column header preferences

  1. Click Report Template Builder, Report Builder from the Tools menu.

    The Report Templates dialog opens.

  2. Select an existing report template for which you want to change the global settings and then click the Edit button, or click the New button to create a new template.

    The Report Template Builder dialog opens.

  3. Click Preferences from the Edit menu.

    The Report Template Builder Preferences dialog opens.

  4. Click the Column Header tab, set the following properties as needed, and then click OK.

    The Report Template Builder Preferences dialog closes and you are returned to the Report Template Builder dialog where you can either exit or run a report.
