The concept of weight in the Service Measurement Index can be used to analyze the quality of a service in a way that is relevant to your business need. For example, if you want to analyze information about your email services while emphasizing cost over security (or security over cost), you can create custom weights to display the different perspectives.
You can also use weight features in the Services page to experiment with "what-if" scenarios simply by working with the sliders and drop-down choices in the user interface, and quickly reviewing the results.
Custom weight settings can be saved for future use, and saved to a template for easy reuse when you create a new custom weight.
