The minimum required database, version, character set, server prerequisites are listed in the table on this page.
The database installation scripts were tested on the following platforms:
** Note: Tested on Microsoft Windows 2003 only.
Important: In 1-tier installations, Windows, Oracle Server, and Oracle client must be 32-bit. Do not use any 64-bit version of the applications. Oracle Server must be version 11.2.0.3.
Notes:
Note: For new databases you can select AL32UTF8 or WE8MSWIN1252. We highly recommend using the AL32UTF8 character set as AL32UTF8 enables you to store non western European characters. AL32UTF8 requires more space
Note: Installing the database on other platforms sometimes requires adjustments in the scripts.
Your database server must have at least 10 GB of free space available before beginning the installation process.
Important: The database server must have sufficient free space available to complete the installation and fully install the database.
