Schedule an Adapter

Once an adapter is created, it can be scheduled to run on specific times and dates.

To schedule an adapter:

  1. In the Adapters page, if the adapter to be scheduled is not in Inactive status, click Stop Adapter (Icon) next to the adapter to stop the connection with CA Business Service Insight.
  2. Click next to the desired adapter and select Scheduler. The Scheduler page is displayed.
  3. In Start time, set the time and time zone for when the adapter should start running.
  4. In Recurrence pattern, select how often should the adapter run.
  5. In Range of recurrence, set on what date the adapter should start running and if it should end on a specific date or not.
  6. In Repeat task, set if the adapter running should be repeated in the scheduled period and how.
