Apply Security to a Service Level Template

Applying security to a Service Level Template enables accessing of relevant Service Level Templates to relevant users. Applying security to a Service Level Template is governed by allowing relevant contract parties to access the Service Level Template. This enables the administrator to set roles that can have access to specific Service Level Templates.

Note: To apply security (and view the option in the menu), the security function must be enabled by your Insight Administrator (go to Administration, Site Settings, Template Library and set Security Mode to restricted).

Follow these steps:

1. In the Template Library page, in the left pane, click on the desired Template Library or Template Folder.
2. In the right pane, click next to the desired Service Level Template and select Security.

   The Security page opens.

3. In Accessible Contract Parties, select Access all (to allow free access to this Template Library) or Selected (to enable access to specific contract parties).
4. In Access, select the desired contract parties from the Available list and click to move them to the May Access Contract Parties list.
5. Click Save to save the security settings.
6. Click Cancel to return to the Template Library page without saving.
