Each user has a catalog of custom widgets available to choose from. The widgets catalog contains the following categories, each containing a variety of custom widgets to choose from.
The user can drag a widget from the catalog and drop it within a regular or a tabular dashview.
In addition to the Widgets catalog, the user can drag-and-drop entities from the Entities catalog, which become entity widgets in the dashview.
In the Entities or Widgets catalogs, each category can be expanded or collapsed.
Note: The entities displayed depend on the user's permissions. Only effective contracts and metrics that belong to effective contracts are shown.
Each Entity category shown in the catalog can be filtered by various criteria (an indication 
shows when a filter is active). For more information, see Filtering.
The Metrics category has a mandatory filter when trying to expand it. This helps in cases where there are many metrics in the system. For more information, see Metric Filter.
