As you work with filter and comparison options in the Service Discovery page, you can work with a trending chart to view up to one year of historical data for the service. After you review trends for one service, you can select a second service to overlay that trend chart on the first chart. The trending chart provides a quick visual summary of comparison data for your service.
Follow these steps:
An empty chart opens in a new window.
A one year trend chart is populated in the trend chart window for each service selected.
Specifies the comparison characteristic used for the chart. The "Overall Score" is used as a default, which includes a combination of all characteristics. You can select another characteristic, such as Cost from the menu to review trends for only that characteristic.
Specifies the time range for the chart. One year is displayed as default. You can select another time range from the menu to display a timeframe as short as one week.
Specifies the weight setting for the chart. The default is to use "natural" weighting, in which all characteristics are weighted equally. You can select or create work a custom weight setting, or use the default setting.
Allows you to hover the mouse over any part of the chart to display a breakdown of comparison scores for each characteristic in a selected timeframe. A small window opens which lists the service name, the characteristic names, and the individual scores.
The trend chart window closes and you return to the Service Overview page.
