Translating Text

To translate text

  1. In Edit Language, select the language you want to edit or to which you want to translate.
  2. Find the text you want to translate by either performing a search or browsing through the sections. The resource keys and their relevant texts are displayed.

    Note: Text that has already been translated, has a * in the column for that that language. The cell is empty if the resource key has not been translated.

  3. Click the pencil icon (Edit button) or the resource key. The resource key editor opens below the search results list. The list of translations for that resource key opens; however, only the language that you have selected to edit is modifiable.
  4. Modify the resource key text as desired.
  5. Click OK and then Save Changes and then Update Database to save your changes and update the database.

Note: Click Update Database to commit the changes and update the database. Changes appear on the user interface only after the database is updated.
