Adapter Wizard Unsupported Features

Some features that are supported by the adapter configuration are not supported by the Adapter Wizard. If the modeling of the adapter requires the use of those features, the configuration should be created manually. When trying to create an adapter, based on a configuration file that contains one of these features, a clear error is indicated.

The features that are not supported by the wizard are:

• Referring to the same input structure (Input Format) from different data source interfaces
• Referring to the same output structure (Translator) from different inputs
• Support for more than one input structure (Input Format) definition for the same data source interface. This enables the user to switch between them following a set of conditions (Input Format Switch)
• Definition of a Data Source ID field in the output structure
• Definition of more than one file in the connection string to query text or Excel files with the same query
• Using Now or NowUtc time constraints
• Values that start or end with a 'space'
