Add an Event Type
When creating an event type, the adapters that generate the event type can be defined, as well as the resource types to which the event refers to. The structure of the event type must also be defined. This definition includes the field name of each value reported and the value type (string, integer, etc.), corresponding to the relevant parts of the data required by the business logic.
The event type and its structure definition can be used when:
- Writing a business logic formula
- Defining alert profiles for a specific event type
- Performing a raw data correction
Important: These definitions should only be defined by users who are thoroughly familiar with the data source, the adapters and the data they report.
