Upload Attachments

You can attach a document by uploading it from a local or network drive.

When uploading a document it is added to the documents repository as a contract specific document. The new document in the repository is associated with the current contract. Therefore, it cannot be used as an attachment in other contracts.

The documents that the user is uploading can be from all types (contract export, booklet or contractual document) with the same restrictions to the file type as in the repository.

Follow these steps:

  1. In the Attachments tab, click Add New and select Upload Document.

    The Attachment Details page opens.

  2. In File Upload, click Browse and select a file to attach.
  3. In Name, type a new name for the attachment if desired.
  4. In Description, type a description of the attachment.
  5. In Category, type a new category for the attachment if desired.
  6. In Type, select whether the attachment is an Export Document or Standard Document.
