Create a Yearly Timeslot

When defining a yearly timeslot, you can select any number of non-contiguous days (up to 366), each of which can have different and partial hours defined for it.

Follow these steps:

  1. In the Timeslots tab, click Add Timeslot and select Yearly Timeslot. The Yearly Timeslot page opens.

Note: You may need to scroll down to display the whole page.

The Yearly Timeslot is made up of three grids:

The date grid contains columns for each month of the year, and rows for every day in the month. (Dates that do not exist are marked in dark green.

The hour grid is made up of a 24-hour day broken down into one-hour segments.

The minute grid is made up of an hour broken down into twelve five-minute segments.

Use the Previous and Next buttons to define and view yearly timeslots for a period of up to two years before and two years ahead of the current year.

  2. In Name, enter a name for the timeslot.
  3. In Description, enter a description for the timeslot.
  4. In Timeslot, define the timeslot as follows:
    1. In the date grid, click and drag to select the day(s) to include in the timeslot and click Include. (The yearly timeslot is limited to 366 days, even in cases where the timeslot spans multiple years). The square(s) turn dark blue, indicating that they are included in the timeslot.

Note: Point over the squares to display tooltips with the exact date of each square in the grid.

    1. In the hour grid, click and drag to select the hours to include in the timeslot, and then click Include. For example, you might define a timeslot called Christmas by selecting December 25 in the date grid and clicking Include, then selecting all the hours in the hour grid and clicking Include. The hours defined apply to all dates included in the yearly timeslot.
    2. To exclude specific five-minute segments within a selected hour, select one or more segments from the hour grid, click and drag in the minute grid to select minute segments, and then click Exclude. The segments in the hour grid turn light blue to indicate that they do not represent a full hour.
      • Click a row header to select that day for each month of the year.
      • Click a column header to select the entire month.
      • The days included in a yearly timeslot do not need to be contiguous. In addition, each day can be configured for different hours or partial hours.
      • Click Invert to reverse the settings.
  5. Click Save. The new yearly timeslot is added to the contract.
