Sharing Pages

A user, other than the owner of the page, viewing a shared page sees the page exactly as the owner sees it. This means that values and severities are calculated as they are for the owner and not by personal settings and permissions of the user viewing the page.

Only the owner of a shared page can change its structure, content, layout and definitions. The user who is sharing the page can only perform the Set as Start Page, Refresh Page and Close operations. In addition, the user can perform a limited set of operations on the dashview and widgets.

If the owner of a shared page removes the page from his\her catalog of pages, it is removed from all other users with whom the page was shared. For more information, see Security Implications.
